Shuttle ultrasonic level transmitter is mainly used for ultrasonic level measurements in wastewater wells, sewer wells and drinking water tanks or reservoirs. Measurements are done without physical contact with the measured liquid. Furthermore, the transmitter can also be used for accurate measurements of water levels in canals and ports etc. Non-contact measurement is ideal for contaminated liquids, including aggressive chemicals or liquids with a very high concentration of dissolved solids or sludge.
In practice, the MJK Shuttle ultrasonic level transmitter operates by emitting a concentrated ultrasonic signal. The echo from this is converted by the sensor to a distance measured from the mounting location. In this way, you obtain stable and reliable measurements even from turbulent and contaminated surfaces.
The device’s built-in setup wizard guides you through the process, which is why the transmitter is both easy to install and use. The two built-in relays can also be used for efficient pump control and to give an alarm at high or low water levels.
Applications :
Benefits :
INTELLIGENT: The built-in learning function lets Shuttle recognize the structure of the installation, thus avoiding false echoes and eliminating signal impacts from the environment such as pipes and flanges.
COMPACT: The converter is small and can be mounted in almost any place where ultrasonic level measurement is needed.
